The Senior Strategy Advancement Professional provides data-based strategic direction to identify and address business and operational issues and opportunities. Providing business intelligence and strategic planning support for Humana Clinical Operations, the Senior Strategy Advancement Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

The Senior Strategy Advancement Professional leads initiatives to analyze complex business and operational problems and issues using data from internal and external sources. Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret, and produce recommendations and plans based on company and external data analysis. Ensures that policies and procedures align with corporate vision. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues without direction. Collaborates and co-creates closely with stakeholders across the enterprise. Manages multi-faceted, complex workstreams to deliver on milestones and metrics. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications


Bachelor's degree
5 or more years of relevant experience
Proficiency with MS office suite
Strong oral and written communication skills
Solid ability to analyze data and extract actionable insights
Structured approach to problem solving
Sound project management skills
Deliverable-oriented mindset and high personal commitment
Strong sense of collaboration, humility, and open-mindedness
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving provider and consumer experiences


Preferred Qualifications


Proven track record in driving enterprise transformation
Advanced analytical skillset including proficiency with Power BI, SQL
Previous utilization management experience on payer side
