Tax Staff - Winter 2021
The candidate will spend a large portion of time directly engaged in complex compliance projects for clients. Handling and supporting a wide variety of tax compliance processes. Assisting with tax due diligence on behalf of a private equity firm. Preparing tax returns for large, international clients. Working with audit teams to determine whether tax accounts are appropriate for financial statements. Researching tax code and writing memos for clients. Improving the tax effectiveness of supply chain structures. Developing and utilizing a diverse network of colleagues across the business. A predicted undergraduate degree in Accounting; graduate degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred; both supported by a strong academic record. Should have a demonstrable plan for passing the CPA exam. Must have excellent English language communication skills. Should have a pre predicted undergraduate degree in accounting and JD, or a JD and LLM in Taxation. Must have membership or anticipated membership in a U.S. state bar or CPA. Experience as an intern in any area of tax preferred. Experience working alongside colleagues at all levels of a business desired. For the Law Path, experience within a tax law clinic or tax law journal preferred.
