Director, Title IX & Compliance
The candidate will be coordinating the University's efforts to comply with and carry out its responsibilities under Title IX, which prohibits sex discrimination in all operations of this University, as well as retaliation for the purpose of interfering with any right or privilege secured by Title IX. Sexual misconduct, including sexual harassment and sexual assault, can be a form of sex discrimination under Title IX, Oversees the University's response to reports and complaints that involve possible sex discrimination to monitor outcomes, identify and address any patterns, and assess effects on the campus climate. Oversee policy and procedure development to ensure compliance with legal mandates and obligations; development of communication strategies; supervision of investigators. Work collaboratively with key stakeholders and community partners. Responsible for providing prompt and effective responses to complaints of sex discrimination or harassment from faculty, staff and students.
