The candidate will be responsible for: Using litigation protocols to develop and revise appropriate legal strategies for all stages of litigation and communicate them to our claims representatives and policyholders. Developing and rendering clear, unambiguous legal opinions and strategies. Researching the law applicable to cases and matters. Conducting necessary and appropriate discovery, and drafting legal documents, pleadings, motions and opinions. Must have an LLM or JD degree. Membership in the Oklahoma State Bar. Should have ability to develop appropriate strategies for discovery, investigation and handling matters. Must have familiarity with the latest developments in the practice of law, as well as pertinent knowledge in related fields. Should have proficiency with technologies that improve the practice of law, reduce costs and facilitate remote work. General knowledge of civil procedure and the litigation process required. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
