Paralegal Faculty
The candidate will teach, assess, and develop courses in Paralegal studies and may be required to teach other related courses. May also serve as the Program Director, at the discretion of the Dean. Master's degree in or related to legal studies is required. Must have 5+ years of work experience in Paralegal/legal work. J.D. degree from an accredited college/university is preferred. Should preferably also have 2-3 years of teaching experience. Experience in teaching online is desired. Position requires excellent teaching skills and the ability to interact effectively with students in the classroom and as an academic advisor. Knowledge of curriculum, assessment, and course development is required. Experience in using instructional technology is needed. The ability to use a variety of instructional strategies to support and motivate students is expected. Knowledge of academic program development is preferred. Must be willing to teach day, evening, or weekend classes.
