SUMMARY
Bering Global Solutions, a subsidiary of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is currently seeking a qualified Data Center VMWare Administrator for government client located in Boyers, PA. The ideal candidate will provide day-to-day operational services supporting Data Center systems that are currently hosted on HP enterprise servers and storage and VMWare virtualization. The successful candidate must be able to operate in an enterprise setting, with collaborative and communications skills to support staff managing the enterprise IT environment. This position is primarily remote.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, build, implement, and deploy data center systems, software applications, and hardware.
Administer and support VMWare Vcenter and ESXi
Administer, run, and maintain Windows and/or Linux server infrastructure in production, dev and test environments.
Strong ability to install, troubleshoot and deliver COTS and custom apps to end users using server infrastructure.
Manage, troubleshoot and remediate issues with HP enterprise servers and storage
Contribute to the design and implementation of disaster recovery plans for servers.
Work ticket queues and document resolutions completely and accurately.
Provides technology-related recommendations, implementations, and upgrades.
Documents the enterprise backup environment(s) and develops related documents as needed.
Participate in rotational on-call duties
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Required (Minimum) Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent certifications or military work-related experience
Minimum of 5 years of IT support or Administration experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
Ability to understand and troubleshoot technical problems
Deep knowledge of VMWare Vcenter and ESXi, including how to deploy new ESXi hosts and perform upgrades
Microsoft Windows Server (20012 & up) and/or RHEL 7 (& up)
Experience with VMWare Vrops
Knowledge of HP hardware used in an enterprise setting
Ability to recommend hardware and software solutions for a wide variety of local and remote applications
Ability to professionally participate in a formal Change Management process
Strong customer relations
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong Analytical Skills
Excellent organization and planning skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
