5 Years Linux/Unix System Administration in a Highly Available environment

Experience working in 24/7 operational environments
·
Knowledge of LAMP Architecture; RHEL, CentOS, or Debian
·
Deep knowledge of Scripting, Chron, MySQL
·
Working knowledge of Networks, Network Protocols and troubleshooting
·
Working knowledge of Operational Tools and Programming
·
Experience with Virtualization
·
Experience in shell scripting to automate tasks and add features
·
Strong troubleshooting skills
·
High degree of independence and exceptional work ethic with exceptional communication skills
·
Ability to work on call shifts
·
Project experience working with ITIL
·
Experience in Managing Off-Shore Team and Distance Management
·
Experience working with Monitoring tools (hardware, OS, DB, network)
·
Experience working with internal systems development (trouble tickets, collaboration, release management, dashboards)
·
Experience with IS processes (help desk, release management, escalation, on-call, emergency fixes, outage mitigation, metric collection, log collection)
