Finance and Operations Manager
Candidate will provide day-to-day management and strategic insights. will closely work with the Partners and the bookkeeper to build a strong foundation for our finance department. This position largely focuses on providing financial insights, scaling billing operations and optimizing trust account management. Provides the opportunity to grow in a fun and engaging environment at an innovative law firm. Review monthly financial performance and assess implications along with developing and executing actionable strategies. Develop the annual company budget, long-term strategic financial plan and monthly forecasts. Work with the bookkeeper to ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Implement efficient and scalable financial policies and procedures. Drive strategic analysis of new business initiatives and partner with leadership to assess growth opportunities. Manage day-to-day cash management, including, monitoring cash flow, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll. Take ownership of ad hoc projects as they arise, such as customer revenue analysis. Drive process improvement, automation and standardization of trust account management. Partner with the attorney’s to ensure accurate billing and efficient resolution of any invoicing issues or disputes.
