Workers' Compensation Paralegal
The candidate will provide overall support to attorneys' business needs. New client telephone screening. Assist with initial client intake. Gather claim information needed to file with Division of Workers' Compensation. Conduct research to support legal proceedings. Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents. Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes. Obtain medical and employment records, as needed. Assist with prompt client communication, including phone and e-mail contact. Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Record and store client information. Previous experience as a paralegal or other legal field (1 year) required. Familiarity with legal research required. Ability to prioritize and multitask required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Deadline and detail-oriented required.
