The Engineer works with anproject team to deliver equipment to projects in accordance with projectnspecifications, schedules, and budgets. nAccuracy, completeness, efficiency and timeliness in are highlynemphasized.  Responsibilities·       Specification review and scope definition·       Request for Quotation package preparation, technical reviewnof quotations, preparing vendor and budget recommendationsPreparation of Purchase Order Requestsnand Releases to ManufacturingReview of vendor submittals againstnproject requirementsPreparation of deliverables forntransmittal to customersCoordination with other engineeringndisciplines contributing to the project.Review of customer comments andncoordination or those comments with the project team and vendors.Perform project checkouts andncalibrations. Including customer-witnessed testing.Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experiencen Bachelor’s in Instrument/Electrical/Controls Engineeringn or equivalent experience (8 years)n 0-3 years of experience to the related field.nBasic knowledge related toninstrumentation and controls.Mustnbe able to work well with others.Ability to review vendor submittalsnagainst project requirements.Ability to review and respond toncustomer comments.  Ability to coordinatencustomer comments with project teams and vendors.Proficient with Microsoft Word,nExcel & Outlook.n Ability to travel domestically and internationallyn Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized forn employment in the United States. Qualified Applicants will not requiren employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employmentn in the United States.nPreferrednKnowledge/Skills, Education, and ExperienceExperience within the waterntreatment and oil and gas industry.Familiar with the high specnindustrial market.Experience selecting process final control elementsnappropriate for all applications identified on project P&ID’s.  Knowledge of techniques and/or material selections tonaddress corrosion concernsFamiliarity with product offerings of instrumentationnmanufacturersKnowledge of control valve type/style selection appropriatenfor use on various fluidsKnowledge of control valve sizing methods and calculationsFamiliarity with product offerings of control valvenmanufacturersAbility to define control functions of the process controlnsystem so that another party can correctly program/configure the controlnsystem.Familiarity with logic diagrams and control narrativendescriptions. Familiarity with product offerings of process controlnequipment (PLC) manufacturers.Experience with process control (PLC and other) equipment.Experience in the development of process control programmingnusing Rockwell Automation or Siemens platforms.Experience related to the development of graphic operatorninterface applications.
