Using innovative thinking, state-of-the-art facilities and robust scientific methodology we collaborate to discover the next medical breakthrough.nnPosition ResponsibilitiesnnnThe Analytical Commercialization and Technology (ACT) group has Senior Scientist positions available at either the Rahway, NJ site or the West Point, PA site.u00a0nnnThe Senior Scientist positionu00a0is an individual contributor role on a laboratory-based scientific track in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.nnnA Senior Scientist is tasked with providing analytical solutions and problem-solving during development of formulation and manufacturing process for the commercialization of our Companyu2019s innovative drug products.u00a0nnnThe responsibilities consist of, but not limited to, analytical method development and validation, drug product testing and analytical investigations in a cGMP environment, drug product and manufacture process characterization, drug product stability studies, specification development, manufacture process scale-up and validation support, and preparation of Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) u00a0documents for regulatory submission.nnnnEducation Minimum Requirement: u00a0nnnBS/BA in Chemistry or related discipline with at least 5 years of relevant pharmaceutical development experience or MS in Chemistry or related discipline with at least 3 years of relevant pharmaceutical development experience or PhD in Analytical Chemistry or related discipline.nnnnRequired Experience and Skills: nnnStrong chemistry knowledgennnDemonstrated problem solving capabilityu00a0nnnExperience with common analytical techniquesnnnStrong communication and collaborationnnnnPreferred Experience and Skills:nnnExperience with analytical techniques such as Ultrahigh/High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (UPLC/HPLC), Ultraviolet (UV) and Infrared (IR) spectroscopy, Karl Fischer, and dissolution with proven ability in troubleshooting these methodologiesnnnExperience with method development and validationnnnFamiliarity with authoring relevant CMC sections of a regulatory submissionnnnnOur Manufacturing & Supply Division is committed to be the most trusted supplier of bio-pharmaceuticals worldwide.
