Job Summary

This Sr. Accountant role will be responsible for the accounting and analysis related to the Administrative costs across the organization. The team member will be responsible for recording Journal Entries, preparation of monthly and quarterly Financial Statements and reporting, workpaper reconciliation and assisting with ad-hoc projects. In-depth experience and skills in accounting, ability to manage priorities and collaborate with other members of Accounting and Finance teams are required.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities


Enters monthly journal entries to properly record accounting transactions, ensuring that journal entries have proper backup to substantiate the entry.

Ensures that balance sheets are accurately stated and reconciled to the general ledger. Researches variances, determines root causes and makes recommendations for adjustments.

Reviews financial statements for operating trends and results, researching variances to forecast and budget prior month and prior year.

Prepares financial reports, analyzing data for management review.

Works closely with various Finance and Business partners across the organization to ensure accuracy of Financial Statements

Researches ways of streamlining and standardizing processes to support the Accounting function.

Assists with systems implementations projects

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
