Humana welcomes fresh graduates to join its Cloud Security team. In this role, you will be part of a high-performing team of professionals, building multi-cloud security controls to secure applications in the cloud. This is an exciting opportunity to gain technical skills and knowledge in an enterprise multi-cloud landscape setting. You will be learning market-leading cloud security technologies, and solutions and collaborating with architects and engineers with innovative mindsets.

Responsibilities

The Cloud Security Engineer 1 Ensure the Cyber security policies are engineered and deployed (Policy-as-a-Code) to the cloud environments and meet the compliance requirements. Automate cloud security controls to minimize and reduce threats, vulnerabilities, and risks. Ensure cross-functional business processes are in place for cloud security control engineering and implementation with proper visibility and approvals. Understands own work area professional concepts/standards, regulations, strategies, and operating standards. Makes decisions regarding own work approach/priorities, and follows directions. Work is managed and often guided by precedent and/or documented procedures/regulations/professional standards with some interpretation.

Required Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related IT field
0-3 years of experience in any software development tools and languages
Basic Understanding of Cloud services and Cyber security
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences


Preferred Qualifications


Master's Degree
Any Technical certifications in Azure, AWS, or GCP
Programming and coding skill sets


Additional Information

Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field.

Work-At-Home Requirements


WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
