Duties: Reporting to the Director of Admissions, participates in recruitment activities and events for the purpose of increasing applications and yielding students for the first year class. Will travel to recruitment fairs (law fairs, grad fairs, LSAC forums), forums, and other events to recruit prospective students and provide information and distribute materials. Will require extensive regional and domestic travel as well as weekend and evening hours. Overnight stays between two to five days to visit college campuses and attend events. Represent College of Law externally at recruiting events. Responsible for attending recruitment events and distributing materials and answering questions from prospective students about admission and attending College. Provide information and prepared marketing materials to prospective students. Ability to effectively and enthusiastically communicate distinctive strengths and benefits of a DePaul Law legal education to multiple audiences – prospective students of different backgrounds. Available to follow-up with prospective students and correspond to inquiries generated from the recruitment event meeting. Collect and send back to campus inquiry names and follow up requests. Explain admission process and general requirements, inform prospective students about law school environment, faculty, and programs. Responsible for making own travel arrangements and documenting all expenses to submit for reimbursement. Provide feedback on each event to Admissions office and manage. Performs other duties as assigned.
