This position pays $21.58/hr.

*This could be a 2nd or 3rd shift position and we do not and cannot guarantee what final shift you will be placed on. You must be willing to work either shift in order to be considered for this position.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for mixing and blending ingredients.

Responsibilities


Accurately scale and measure all ingredients using a variety of scales.

Condense and/or move partial or full pallets of ingredients daily.

Program and monitor ingredients in liquid bulk and dry bulk systems.

Setup, maintain and operate assigned equipment.

Perform general housekeeping duties in the department

Accurately complete all necessary production documentation where applicable.

Operate the forklift to load and unload materials

Perform additional tasks as needed to include, but not limited to cross training on other machines and/or in other areas.

Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements

Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor

Requirements



Must be willing to work 8-12-hour shifts and up to six days a week, overtime and/or weekends as needed

Must have at least 6 months of continuous work experience with at least one employer within the last 12 calendar months.

Applicant must live in the following counties: Floyd, Polk, Haralson, Cherokee Etowah, and Bartow

Ability to perform basic math functions (adding, subtracting, fractions, etc.)

Must be able to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level up to 50 pounds regularly

Must be able to reach high and low levels, frequently

Must be willing to work in a production environment requiring safety glasses, face shields, hair/beard net, facial covering, hearing protection, and slip resistant footwear. All PPE is provided by Tyson Foods.

Must be willing to withstand working in hot environments
