The candidate will have the opportunity to regularly participate in every aspect of the practice of law from complex research to building client relationships. Assignments to multiple practice areas allow summer associates to explore diverse practice groups and provide an opportunity to meet lawyers with a variety of professional backgrounds and expertise. Utilize skills such as research, writing and legal analysis. Rising 1L student at an ABA-approved law school are considered. Must have record of outstanding academic achievement. Preference given to the top 25% of class or GPA of 3.5 and above. Work experience prior to law school is valued very highly. Excellence in legal research and writing skills is required. Must possess excellent communication skills. Foreign language skills and multicultural experience prior to law school are a plus.
