VP of Legal – Regulatory
The candidate will be advising business and technology stakeholders in product, engineering, IT, business development, marketing, and compliance on issues related to compliance with laws and regulations on state and federal consumer protection, securities, money transmission, banking, and commodities requirements. Will build relationships with regulatory authorities, respond to regulatory requests and examinations, and manage regulatory obligations. Contributing to various contracts, including user and services agreements, terms of service, licensing agreements, and commercial contracts. Researching a range of novel legal questions and distilling findings to advise internal stakeholders. Collaborating with in-house and outside counsel to research complex legal and regulatory issues. Work with outside counsel, partners, and regulators in furtherance of driving business goals.
