Certified Legal Assistant
The candidate will teach courses in accordance with the schedule of classes and follow the approved course descriptions and syllabi established by the Division faculty and administered by the Dean. Teaching assignments may be on one or more of the college's campuses or off-site locations and may include concurrent enrollment, distance education, evening and weekend programs, online instruction and other instructional modalities. CLA or CP designation required. Must have Associate Degree. Degree in paralegal or legal studies is a plus. Advanced degree in additional field is preferred. Should have experience in teaching or familiarity with the content and format of the Certified Legal Assistant Exam. Experience working in the paralegal field in litigation, probate or a transactional practice area. Certification from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization is a plus.
