The OMT- Auxiliary carries out all routine water/gas chemistry analysis, inspects and monitors operating components and reports plant status.u003c/pu003enu003cpu003eThe OMT-Auxiliary will also support in the maintenance of the facility.u003c/pu003enu003cpu003ePRIMARY FUNCTIONSu003c/pu003enu003culu003enu003cliu003eWork as assigned by the Operations Manager. Protective equipment must be worn in the performance of some duties (e.g. hard hats, safety glasses, air masks, ear protection, chemical suits, hot gloves and high voltage protective equipment, etc.).u0026nbsp; Work with hazardous materials may be required.u003c/pu003enu003cpu003ePosition requires extended working hours and varied shifts with weekend and holiday work, as required by schedules, work load and plant conditions. u0022On callu0022 status will periodically be required.u003c/pu003enu003cpu003eAll employees will participate in the Fitness for Duty Program.u0026nbsp; This program includes a post-offer physical examination and drug screening and post-employment random drug screening.u0026nbsp; There are extensive smoking restrictions in and around the facility.u003c/pu003enu003cpu003eJOB QUALIFICATIONSu003c/pu003enu003culu003enu003cliu003eAbility to understand procedures and instructions specific to the area of assignment as would be acquired in four years of high school.
