Eagle Eye Electric, LLC, a subsidiary of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is currently seeking a qualified Quality Control Manager in Dover, DE. The Quality Control Manager is directly responsible for the quality of all work for the project(s) they are assigned.  This includes coordination with the subcontractors and vendors on the projects to ensure that the materials being used, methods of construction and specifications meet the minimum requirements identified in the design documents.  This position requires a close working relationship with the project Superintendent as well as the PM.  The QCM must have a strong working knowledge of general construction practices and the ability to read & understand project design packages.  The QCM will be involved in the review of all product submittals prior to their submittal to DAFB.  This person must be comfortable having direct discussions with the customer as well as our design team.  In addition to QC functions, this person also has Safety responsibilities shared with the Superintendent and PM.  Due to the QCM’s extensive time on job sites, they have an inherent responsibility to stop all work they deem to be dangerous or not in compliance with OSHA and EM385-1-1. 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
On-site management of the QC process
Project coordination between all parties; subcontractors, owner’s reps, etc. on all QC related issues
Input on the project schedule with the Superintendent to ensure that all submittals are approved, long lead times are accounted for, materials are inspected upon arrival, preparatory meetings are scheduled, hold points are performed and work in the field is inspected while underway
Attendance at regular internal and external progress meetings including submittal updates
Development of daily reports with Superintendent
Assistance to the Superintendent in the development of punch lists
Review and processing of project submittals and shop drawings
Active roll with Superintendent in weekly “tool box talks” with all staff on site
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION
Required (Minimum) Qualifications:
High School Degree
At least 5 years of mgmt. or QCM experience on construction projects
Experience on a DOD or Federal site is preferred
Civil construction experience of at least 3 years
OSHA 30 Training
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers
Excellent computer skills
Skilled in Microsoft suite programs
Construction management experience
Extensive experience with design drawings and specifications
Preferred
Federal government or DOD experience in construction
Experience with a professional QCM/PM software system for daily reporting & submittal processing

This position will require extensive work in the field including work during all seasons and in all weather.  As the QCM, your daily duties will require access and inspections within all areas of the site which would require the use of ladders as well as traversing irregular surfaces with obstacles. 
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 
Most job duties and time will be spent on an active job site which can involve all weather conditions including temperature extremes and working around equipment.  Time will probably be split 50/50 between the field and in an office environment for meetings or paperwork.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS:
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
