Our road supervisors are an integral part of daily operations. Road Supervisorsu00a0assure all routes are completed in compliance with safety procedures.u00a0 This position also monitors and coaches bus drivers.u00a0We hire individuals who make safety and customer service their top priorities.u00a0 If you have the drive, confidence, and determination to succeed, First Transit is looking for you!nOur Road Supervisors are responsible for:nnAuditing service, routes and road conditions and recommends alternate routes to dispatch as appropriate.u00a0nMonitoring and coaching operator performance and behavior; models passenger interaction skills, coaches operators in use of time, checks and instructs periodically on proper revenue, transfers and farebox data collection, and recommends training or retraining, as appropriate to ensure compliance with safety policies.nInvestigating accidents, incidents, disputes and disturbances as assigned, in accordance with policy, and in conjunction with involved authorities.nConducting time point and passenger load checks to ensure schedule and route efficiency.nWrites reports regarding service disruptions, security incidents and operator performance/behavior in accordance with policies and procedures.u00a0 May assist operators in filing of reports.nAssists in the processing and follow up of customer service complaints and requests.nnTo qualify as a Road Supervisor, youu2019ll need:nnA High School Diploma or GEDnAbility to obtain a CDL licensenSupervisory experience requirednA minimum of two (2) years of experience required as a full time Bus Operator.nAbility to communicate effectively orally and in writingnAbility to manage time effectively and work in a diverse environmentnAbility to adapt to changing situations and willingness to help in a variety of situationsnAbility to make quick decisions and work under pressure effectivelynnBenefitsu00a0nWe offer $16.50 per hour and benefits including physical and mental health initiatives, medical/dental/vision, 401(k), and paid holiday/vacation.u00a0nn$2,500 sign on bonus included if you have a Class B CDLnnDiversity & Inclusionu00a0nBecause weu2019re stronger together, we aspire to have a culture where all people are First.
