Our client has an immediate need for Software Developer to assist with expanded project work for application development. Candidates that meet the following criteria please forward a word version of your resume for immediate review.
Qualifications:
Work with the development manager to establish the vision of the application and to ensure its on-going quality.
Work with the development manager to identify tasks, establish work effort estimates and determine the work schedule for the development team.
Analyze business processes in order to define functional requirements and technical specifications for both the application and its development framework.
Evaluate and analyze systems operation and makes recommendations for improvements and modifications to ensure optimum functioning of implemented systems.
Work with team members to develop application functionality based on the supplied specifications and using the team’s common development framework.
Review the technical work of junior members to ensure that it is consistent with industry best practices and adheres to the team’s standards. Prepare documentation and provide training, guidance, assistance and knowledge transfer among staff.
Design and develop approaches that will be implemented by junior team members as well as provide instruction, guidance and mentoring.
Required Skills
Ability to apply understanding of the business process to create software enhancements that fulfill the needs of the application’s users
Ability to translate end user's requests into technical requirements
Solid understanding of UML and other process modeling techniques
Solid understanding of design patterns and object-oriented design practices
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to write quality, stable, scalable, and maintainable code
Ability to oversee junior team members and ensure that all assigned tasks are completed on-time and to specification
Technical Experience:
5 years of experience developing in C#
5 years of experience developing web based solutions using ASP.Net
5 years of experience working with T-SQL (including the development of stored procedures, views and triggers)
3 year of experience working with web technologies including JavaScript, HTML, CSS and XML
Other Required Skills:
Comfortable working in a team environment
Excellent documentation skills
Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
Recommended Skills/Knowledge
Experience using SSRS and/or SSIS
Experience using WCF
Experience designing and/or reporting against a Data Warehouse
Knowledge of the REO industry
Knowledge of the real estate industry
Knowledge of the mortgage industry, in particular default servicing
