Web Optimization Analyst

Profile

The Web Optimization Analyst will work with the Optimization team to assist website managers in identifying site optimization goals and delivering key insights to the business.  Responsibilities:

Translate business needs and goals into effective A/B and multivariate test plans, including test variables , designing test criteria and method, and creating and executing tests using Optimizely
Proactively identify opportunities and trends, delivering insights designed to increase conversion rates.
Create and maintain dashboards, alerts, and ad hoc reports
Analyze and effectively communicate results to key stakeholders and recommend implementations
Collaborate closely with product, engineering, design, and ad operations teams to implement tests and product changes
Leverage the Analytics team for deeper insights into business performance

Requirements:

3-5 years of experience in website optimization testing, business analysis, or web analytics
Experience with web analytics tools (Omniture Insight or Site Catalyst, Google Analytics)
Experience with optimization testing tools (Autonomy Optimost, Optimizely, Adobe/Omniture Test & Target, Google Website Optimizer)
Proven experience with routine A/B and multivariate testing
Demonstrated success in a results driven, collaborative environment
Strong analytical thinking and business savvy
Resourceful, proactive, and creative problem solver
Ability to manage expectations and prioritize initiatives based on potential gains and alignment with business goals
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong Excel skills and proficiency with PowerPoint
Basic understanding of JavaScript, CSS , HTML (jQuery helpful)
SQL experience a plus
4 year BA/BS preferred
