Build me a Web Application
Website serves a specific community where listed business can be reviewed by customers. Sole intent is for the community of businesses to develop a reputation of trusted, reliable, and exceptional customer service and quality products and services. Business owners use the services on a subscription basis (monthly, quarterly, annual); Customer use the service on an annual subscription basis. Subscription payment gateway is Stripe.
Functionality
Business Owners Can:
- Purchase service subscription; to complete purchase they will need to
- Provide necessary standard payment information in order to make purchase
- Register their business so Customers can find the business and provide reviews: (Business Name (m)andatory, Email (m), Mailing Address (m), Street Address (o)ptional, {Allow for international mailing and street addresses}, Phone (m), Fax (o), Cell (o), URL (o)
- Select Business Category, or Sub-Category, or Sub-Sub Category {I will provide the list of Categories and sub categories - registering a business at any sub category level automatically makes it a part of the any categories at the higher level.
- Respond to any business review posted by a customer (so as to provide information on how the business resolved an issues, etc.
- Challenge negative reviews by requesting administrative review
Customer Can:
- Purchase service subscription; to complete purchase they will need to
- Provide necessary standard payment information in order to make purchase
- maintain profile information (update payment information etc)
- Search for business
-------- geographically (country, state/province, city) Business name show up alphabetically
-------- geographic search (at any level) can be refined by Business Category and/or sub/sub-sub category
-------- geographic/Category search (at any level) can be refined by Business name wildcard search
-------- enter a company review
-------- submit proof of encounter/purchase when required by administrator to substantiate a negative review
Administrator can
- Create/Modify Business Categories, Sub Categories, and Sub Sub Categories
- Request proof of proof of encounter/purchase from customer to substantiate a negative review
- Place challenged reviews in pending status (remove from active display until substantiated)
- Place unsubstantiated reviews in delete status (there must be a log maintained of effort to secure substantiation for poor review, adequate time provided to customer to supply substantiation, failure on the customers part to substantiate the poor review within the time allotted)
Technology
- Ensure that current industry standard web development solution stack is used
- This is a web application (not a web site) which must easily extendable to include additional functionality
- Would prefer working with a freelancer/company who is equally qualified in UI/UX design and web application development
Future enhancement will include business being able to run promotions on the Application. But this is not included in this project.
