This facility requires all applicants to be fully COVID vaccinated.
Fully vaccinated is two weeks after the final vaccination dose. The booster dose is recommended but not required at this time.
Department: Quality Assurance – Fresh Processing Plant
Position: FSQA Technician
Work Shift: 2nd Shift (4:30 pm - 1:30 am)
This facility may run 6-7 days a week, Monday-Friday, Saturdays, and Sundays as necessary.
SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the following but not limited to:
Performing physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems documenting and calculating results accurately.
Taking corrective action when necessary, alert appropriate personnel to adjust process.
Identify and isolate non-conforming product and report results to management.
Any additional assignments requested.
All team members are responsible for safety. This includes but is not limited to personal safety and food safety.
Special Skills:
Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork
Ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce
Good problem identification and problem-solving skills
Math and organizational skills
Ability to read and interpret product specifications
Must function well under stress
Must have flexibility to work where and when needed. Position may involve heavy lifting 50-70 lbs. or more.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in the poultry industry preferred or other QA type experience.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Safety: Must be able to understand and agree to follow Safety Rules.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills with knowledge in Word and ExcelCommunication Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills arecritical
