Senior Oracle EBS Developer Job
Overview
This position requires knowledge and experience with Oracle applications, not limited to but including Ebusiness Suite. The candidate will be required to gather business requirements, design, develop, implement and train on new solutions within the Oracle space. Ideal candidate is a highly motivated, self-starter who enjoys the challenge of learning new technologies in a fast paced environment.
Specific Responsibilities Include
Work cross-functionally to ensure alignment between business requirements and solution capabilities to be able to provide the technical solution, while adhering to IT standards.
Ability to research issues and solutions, and communicate them concisely. Ability to manage ones’ own workload, based on priority defined by management.
Provides guidance and support to other team members. Willingness to help wherever possible.
Strong troubleshooting skills. Ability to analyze issues, research, collaborate with team members and resolve within the defined SLA.
Adhere to the IT Change Control process, code migration methodology and SOX controls/requirements.
Results oriented. Provide accurate estimates for work, and meet defined timelines for deliverables.
Strong documentation skills
Qualifications
Education / Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline.
5 years’ experience in IT application development and support.
5 years’ experience with Oracle EBS, either 11i or R12 in development of PL/SQL, Reports 6i, BI Publisher and Discoverer
Experience with SOA tools a plus
Strong understanding of the SDLC with basic project management skills.
Solid understanding of business process across multiple disciplines (Finance, HR, Supply Chain). Solid understanding of meta data.
Experience working on 1 EBS conversion or upgrade a plus.
Proficient in Word, Excel and Visio.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
