Assistant Professor In Accounting
The candidate will work for 9 months. Provide current evidence of an on-going research program. Will be expected to publish appropriate area-related research in high-quality refereed outlets, develop and teach courses in Taxation, Financial Accounting or Accounting Information Systems at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels, and online, as needed by the School, perform service activities with the School, University, professional discipline, and community partners at a level appropriate for career stage. Should hold a doctoral degree with an emphasis in accounting from an AACSB accredited institution, a JD/LLM in Taxation, or a JD/Masters of Taxation. Advanced ABD candidates will be considered but must possess a doctoral degree by August 15, 2016. Preference given to applicants whose research is complementary with that of existing faculty and to those candidates with accounting or tax work experience and appropriate professional certification.
