Duties: Responsibility of effective teaching. Will teach two sections each semester (20+ students/section; a 2/2 course load) of Lawyering Skills I & II, the required two-semester first-year legal research, writing, and analysis course. May have additional teaching obligations based on curricular and academic support needs. Will join an autonomous yet collaborative Lawyering Skills program, in which faculty design their own syllabi, teaching materials, and assignments and supervise their own student teaching assistants. Will contribute to the School of Law’s curriculum and student success through additional teaching obligations; these additional obligations will be determined based on the School of Law’s curricular needs and the successful candidate’s interests and skills, and may include academic support programming, intercession courses, skills team coaching, etc.
