SUMMARY
Global Technical Service. LLC, a subsidiary of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is currently seeking a qualified Technology Advisor for the Transformation and Execution Logistics Capability Initiatives (LCI) contract in Beavercreek OH. The United States Air Force is transforming its logistics processes and the information technology (IT) systems which enable those processes.  The successful candidate will provide a deep and broad level of knowledge in the latest information technology and technological trends, and how they are being applied by commercial industry and governmental organizations to improve their business.  The Technology Advisor will work with Air Force logistics IT portfolio management teams to understand the needs of the Air Force's logistics business, what is being done to improve them, and how to apply the latest IT and technology to meet business strategic objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains awareness and understanding of industry and government trends in how technology and information technology are applied to improve or transform business capabilities
Develops network with government and industry professional organizations to stay abreast of the latest trends
Maintains insight to Air Force logistics portfolio objectives and on going initiatives to understand how trends in technology and information technology can help effectively and efficiently influence delivery of business capabilities
Evaluates technology trends against mission business area roadmaps to effectively and efficiently deliver capability that satisfies defined requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Corporate-level CPI or information technology delivery experience 
Minimum of a Masters degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field required
Ability to travel required (40-60%)
Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written)
Ability to work effectively in a team environment (in person and distributed)
Ability to work in an Agile environment

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.

No supervisory responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
