The Candidate will be responsible to work on various employment issues and research treatment. Assist with writing client responses, white papers and reports. Support employee benefits portion of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) due diligence work. Collaborate with the M&A tax team to review target company files to find compensation and benefit agreements for executives and other employees. Help review compensation provisions and assess applicable tax rules with senior members of the GRS group. Compile and calculate various compensation and benefit deductions and costs. Assist teams with tax compliance services for US and multinational companies. Work with foreign offices regarding coordination of foreign tax matters.
