Senior Associate Dean of Students
The candidate will serves as the deputy to the Associate Provost and Dean of Students for co-curricular academic programming; student affairs, activities, and initiatives. Helps promote the University’s and Division’s missions by explicitly promulgating engagement, a sense of belonging, and a deeply-felt, shared connection to community throughout firm’s vibrantly diverse undergraduate, graduate, and professional student population in active partnership with student leadership groups and University departments and initiatives. Administrative oversight for: community service initiatives through the Community Service Center; disability and access services through Disability Access Services, student discipline through Judicial Affairs, identity, race, and culture programs through the Howard Thurman Center Common Ground; transition programs for new students through Orientation; campus activities and organizations through the Student Activities Office; and, campus residence programs and leadership through the Office of Residence Life. Serves as the Associate Provost and Dean of Student’s deputy for issues involving Title IX; implementing policy and various University initiatives; and, for convening a variety of University task forces and committees.
