I need a Programmer to help with advanced algorithm
So Im making a game and there is one crucial mechanic that Im finding very difficult. I need help with the marching cubes algorithm. Ive found tutorials, mainly the cat-like coding tutorial for Unity (which is the engine that I am using). So Ive gone through but I still dont understand it completely and it doesnt quite work in the way that I need it to. Every tutorial I find show how to generate voxels with code, but what I need is to be be able using to the algorithm on a mesh that already exists. For example, I pull in a rock or mountain mesh, and I need for my main character to be able to drill through that mesh. Making a 3d game in a 3D space but with a fixed side view camera.
