We are currently looking to fill a Manufacturing Project Manager – Manufacturing Execution & Manufacturing Systems position with a 1st shift, Sunday-Wednesday, 8:00am-4:30pm schedule. Regeneron successfully manufactures a range of biopharmaceuticals for patients worldwide, including our approved therapeutic proteins and those involved in clinical studies. Our Manufacturing Project Manager – Manufacturing Execution & Manufacturing Systems performs tasks related to the management of manufacturing IT projects including the implementation of the MES system for large scale bulk API production in Rensselaer, NY.

As a Manufacturing Project Manager – Manufacturing Execution & Manufacturing Systems, a typical day might include the following:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Lead the implementation of a MES system (Werum PAS-X) for the bulk API large-scale manufacturing department on the Rensselaer Site.
• Collaborate between manufacturing and IT to collaborate on implementation of system changes and upgrades, improving the digital maturity of the plant, and prioritization of business needs.
• Ensure consistency and alignment with other global MES deployments.
• Coordinate with leaders across the business to drive standardization and best practices in manufacturing IT programs, both in technology and approach.
• Work with the IT group to coordinate and lead changes and improvements to existing manufacturing IT systems.
• Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating outcomes, identifying problems, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements for the manufacturing department.
• Translate business requirements to software solutions.
• Provide internal SME focused training.
• Take ownership of manufacturing databases.
• Support manufacturing leadership in finding opportunities for continuous improvement.

This role might be for you if you have:

• Experience with the implementation of manufacturing execution systems required, preferably with Werum PAS-X.
• Experience with other manufacturing related systems such as ERP, APS, or LIMS.
• Experience with organisational change in a GMP industry.

To be considered for the Sr. Manufacturing Project Manager – Manufacturing Execution & Manufacturing Systems position, you must have a bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, diplomatic, communication, and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple organizations within the business. This candidate will also have 5 years of relevant experience with managing IT projects.

Level is determined based on qualifications relevant to the role.
