What you’ll do
Mimize costs.
Be mostly a database analyst and engineer.
Work with Product teams to create CI/CD pipelines that ensure the quality, security of our software
Implement advanced deployment techniques such as blue-green deployments, canary deployments, and feature flags
Ensure security validation and vulnerability scans are part of our standard software supply chain
Create optimized cloud automation by ensuring the Infrastructure as Code pattern is adopted across our entire suite of applications
Optimize our observability platform by enhancing our current monitoring and alert toolchain and augmenting with new solutions as applicable
Work with the product teams to ensure robust automated testing
Help implement policies which ensure compliant and consistent deployment of cloud infrastructure
Develop and execute on key cloud architectures that are technically optimized, operationally efficient, and cost-effective
Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues
Define and enforce cloud standards and policies
Requirements:
Expert on Multiple cloud system (google cloud, aws, azure, ibm, digital ocean, etc.)
Ruby on Rails.
Docker, Kubernetes.
Solid understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and proficient with Bash
Proficient with deployment pipelines CI/CD and relative tools (Jenkins, TravisCI, CircleCI)
3 years of experience with a strong focus on DevOps and cloud automation
Oracle, RDS, PostgreSQL, Mongo, SQL, REDIS, DataStore, Redshift, Firebase.
API consumption and generation, Experience with Web Service APIs (SOAP/REST).
RDBMS experience in Oracle, Redshift, Postgres, or equivalent. (SQL, PL/SQL)
Strong understanding of SOA, microservice architectures and RESTful web-services
4 years of experience in DevOps Engineering, preferably using AWS
Fluent communication skills in English
Proactive and goal-oriented
Experience performing Linux security vulnerability detection and remediation (Qualys Preferred).
Experience implementing system, network, and data cryptography practices for Linux.
Experience in writing documentation.
You are a rational and critical thinker.
Participate in code reviews.
Knowledge of automated build pipelines and Git.
Capacity to work autonomously, to estimate tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to articulate ideas.
Attention to quality and well-written code.
Documented experience writing clean, modular, well-documented and well-tested JS
Experience with responsive and cross-browser development and testing
Familiar with JIRA and GitFlow
