to add to our wonderful team! Serenity Gardens prides itself in the care and enrichment that we provide to our residents. We specialize in personal care along with Dementia care. If you want to make a difference in someone else's life and enjoy taking care of and serving the elderly, please apply!
This could be a great opportunity for those who are currently laid off or unable to attend school due to social distancing guidelines (although all are encouraged to apply)!
Employees are required to work every other weekend and every other holiday.
This position is temporary, but could lead to a regular part time or regular full time position for some candidates.
Responsibilities and Duties
Dietary Aides are responsible for:
setting up tables and other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order
serve meals under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook
deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms
take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses etc.
discard leftovers and take out garbage
clean food stations
wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware.
Compassion for elderly and a desire to improve their quality of life is the focus of this food service operation.
To stand on your feet for 8 to 10 hours,
An eye for detail
Qualifications and Skills
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be flexible with shift times (may be scheduled for mornings, afternoons, or early evenings)
