Controls Engineer - Project Engineer

Profile

Our client is a leading Systems Integration firm. Due to their steady project work load we have an exciting position open for an experienced Instrument and Controls Project Engineer for their Baltimore/DC area office. This position offers the experienced engineer an exceptional opportunity to join one of the area's fastest growing companies. Responsibilities will include:
Design of instrument and control systems for SCADA from concept through startup including Control Panel Design
Work in conjunction with consulting engineering firm specifications integrating the I&C system into the overall project
Development and programming and integration of PLC systems with Allen-Bradley Control Logix, Modicon, Unity, GE Fanuc PLC
Graphics Development with FIX Intellution, Allen-Bradley RS View, Modicon Magellis, Citec
AutoCAD latest version for control panel design and Submittal Preparation
Design of Instrumentation application in terms of Level, Flow, Analytical and Pressure measurement
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or similar technical degree
3 years minimum experience in the design of instrumentation and control systems
Good experience in programming PLCs
Excellent communications skills
Knowledge and Design of Instrumentation application in terms of Level, Flow, Analytical and Pressure measurement
Waste and or water treatment, liquids processing such as chemical, liquid food or pharmaceutical or refinery process or similar liquid processing instrumentation and control systems design required.
