Assistant Professor
The candidate will teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels such as criminal law other related areas of law and applied topics or any combination of the aforementioned courses. Additional duties may include student advisement in the following areas: pre-law, paralegal, and criminal justice, assisting with related assessment, professional accreditation and/or certification requirements such as Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences (ACJS), engaging with a variety of justice agencies (governmental and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs)), and coordinating activities that engage students in working with these agencies. Teach 12 credit hours each semester, conduct research, advise students, participate in curriculum development and outcomes assessment, and establish linkages to advance the land grant mission of the University throughout the region.
