This Principal Antenna engineer will serve as the technical expert and advisor for engineering management, operating supervision, and design personnel regarding complex problems in a major project or sub-project. Also, provide expert technical information and counsel on system issues relating to designs and operating problems to engineering units, and coordinates this information for a major project.
To qualify for this very exciting and challenging opportunity, you should possess a Bachelors or Masters degree in relevant technical discipline and 7 years of related experience. Experience should include: detailed knowledge/ experience in electromagnetics applied to antenna design, system performance analysis (RF chain analysis), active ESA experience of measurement/calculation of Noise Figure, EIRP, G/T, TOI, beam scan loss and beam pointing accuracy; antenna modeling; radiator element design; active array former design. Also should be experienced with some of the following design tools: HFSS, IF3D, Agilent ADS, Matlab, Feco analysis tools; Allegro; Cadence Orcad and Autocad layout tools. Hands-on experience with the following lab equipment is preferred; network analyzers, vector analyzers, spectrum analyzers.
Must be US citizen or Green Card holder very close to obtaining US citizenship.
