POSITION SUMMARY:


Responsible for set up of equipment in preparation for startup and responsible for dumping product and inspecting prior to grinding.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



Must operate equipment to maintain adequate flow of product for supply to blends as needed.

Must be able to communicate well with team members at all levels such as Lead people, Supervisors and Managers.

Must have good communication skills while using radios and face to face interactions.

Also responsible for equipment inspection during production time and during equipment teardown.

Must maintain good housekeeping and adhere to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies.

Complete tracking documentation Manage Process using SAP.

Must be able to distinguish material to be worked on/around and make decisions and act on material to be used.


REQUIREMENTS:


Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent.

Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees’ Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours.

Must be willing and able to pinch/grip product and place into specified location.

Must be willing and able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to bending, twisting, reaching, standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.

Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

All employees are responsible for upholding the principals of SQF 2000. Ability to communicate effectively with company employees and all levels of management.

Familiar with the safe operation of production line conveyor equipment.

Internal: Must not have more than 5 attendance occurrences. Must not have a disciplinary suspension on file in the past 6 months. Must be in your current position for a minimum of six (6) months unless this job is a higher class than you currently hold.

External: Must have at least 3 months previous manufacturing work experience with a single employer within the last 12 months.
