Refrigeration Maintenance- Night Shift

This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only. NIGHT SHIFT.

This position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the refrigeration systems while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Summary:


Must become certified as a Tyson Class 1-4 operators within 90 days of hire
Knowledge of 2 stage system
Able to read multi-meter for trouble shooting control wiring and able to read P & IDs.
Able to read electrical Schematics and Blueprint
Obtain knowledge of Pneumatics and Hydraulics
Willing to work night shift and rotate for vacations if needed
Willing to perform pump down’s for system
Daily physical maintenance of equipment and building grounds
Other duties as assigned by Maintenance Management


SKILLS:

•Manual dexterity sufficient to grasp tools and equipment.

•Willing to read computerized forms, work orders, manufacturer instructions.

•Willing to maintain the ammonia refrigeration maintenance system in “as-designed” condition – previous experience preferred.

•Knowledge of refrigeration system sufficient to troubleshoot problems.

•Willing to perform forklift and building maintenance

•Willing to work inside the warehouse and outside in temperatures

•Willing to work in high precarious places and positions like on roofs, on racks, near moving mechanical

•Frequent standing, squatting, reaching, bending, climbing, and walking.

•Lift, push, or pull objects weighing up to 80 pounds on a limited basis with assistance from machinery or another Team Member.

*Willing to obtain required hand tools
