Job Description


This position is responsible for assisting the supervisor with product flow, process efficiency, and product quality while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

This position is responsible for following all procedures and best practices for weighing, pulling and transporting the work in process meat during the life cycle of the product. This position requires continuous standing and repetitive lifting and pulling of product. This position requires pushing meat in racks weighing 600 or more pounds along the overhead rail system as well as activating the necessary rail switches to direct their movement. Record keeping and attention to detail is a key function of this position. Applicant must be able to count how many sticks are on the rack, read scales, be organized and write rack weights on the required paperwork. Candidate must be able to follow best inventory practices following the steps on scanning the product to each location, notify a supervisor if an inventory issue or process issue is found.

Good work ethic is required and the ability to adapt to changing work priorities and work situations. Must be willing to work the scheduled hours for this position and be willing to work weekends as scheduled.

Successful applicant must show 6 months of consecutive work history with 1 employer in the last 24 months.
