Formulation Lead 2nd Shift

Profile

This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by insuring the Supervisor’s instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly. This position will also monitor all equipment to insure it is working properly and notify the supervisor of any needed maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Inspect area at start of shift and report any deficiencies to supervisor. Assign team members their daily responsibilities. Direct team members to assure they are in their areas and working safely. Monitor all breaks to assure team members are going and coming back on time, monitor stuffer/Aplina’s and communicate with maintenance when equipment is not running properly. Responsible for daily SSOP checks for stick length. Update KPI boards and filling in for stuffer operators as needed. Receive and follow all instructions from your supervisor, report all issues that arise during shift to your supervisor. Adhere to Tyson policies and procedures.

Must be able to lift 60 lbs. with or without help. Must be able to push and pull the equivalent of 600 lbs. on rail system. Must be able to work on your feet for a period of 8 to 12 hours. Must be able to communicate orally with all levels of Team Members and possess critical problem-solving skills. Bi-lingual is preferred. Must be willing to work in extreme cold and wet environments, willing to work weekends, holidays and flexible to changing shift when needed.

Successful applicant must posses 6-month of work history with 1 employer within the last 24 months.
