Job Summary:

The Field Quality Technician inspects finished products on the rig or remote job sites at a variety of locations worldwide.

Role and Responsibilities:


Set up and calibration of nondestructive test equipment.
Conduct inspection and be able to detect discontinuities using ultrasonic equipment.
Conduct inspection using mag yoke and portable coils.
Conduct inspection using dye penetrant and maintain a clean work area.
Accurately process test results & create reports.
Verification that company product is to specifications and standards.
Proper maintenance of inspection gear, dimensional tooling and other equipment.
Responsible for all aspects of NDT related records.
Assist with any other projects as needed.

Minimum Job Qualifications:


High school diploma or equivalent
0 - 2 years experience as a certified inspector.
Completion of accredited UT Level I and Level II course.
Completion of accredited MT Level I and Level II course.
Completion of accredited PT Level I and Level II course.
Oil field related work experience.
Candidate must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.

Experience with Dimensional tooling (manual or DRO)
Additional certifications such as CWI, API courses etc. a plus
