Management Assistant - Editorial

Profile

This position requires experience in related technical order production, such as evaluation of source data, familiarity with military specifications for TOs, editing, and the inter-filing of TO changes and supplements into basic manuals. This individual should be familiar with TO library database management systems. Position also requires experience in management and/or administrative functions to include word processing, spreadsheets, software, database, and schedule management.

Ability to achieve and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work well independently or in a team environment. Able to prioritize work and complete assignments quickly and accurately. Knowledge of FrameMaker, Ultra Edit and Epic Editor/SGML. Familiarity with military specifications for TOs and with changes, revisions, supplements to basic manuals. Adapts well to change.
Mandatory:
Ensures superior quality. Good proofing and grammar skills. Ability to interface with Editors and QA personnel.
