Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for an Application Support Analyst on a direct hire opportunity with a leading financial technology company in Charlotte, NC.

The Application Support Analyst is responsible for the day to day technical support tasks. The support analyst provides end user support and assists in the management of supporting technologies.

Responsibilities:

Provide day to day technical support to the business unit.
Participate in global and local technical initiatives.
Monitor alarms raised by local service desk and resolve group tickets and comply with service and quality guidelines when managing incidents.
Respond to and comply with escalation policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computing or computing equivalent or technical-related area together with relevant working experience
Good organizational and communication skills
Fluent English spoken and written
Strong sense of responsibility and service-minded attitude
Able to deal with competing pressures and set priorities accordingly
Self motivated, innovative and analytical with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Dynamic personality and enthusiastic
Pro-active attitude and willingness to put forth suggestions for constructive improvement in provision of service
4-6 years of relevant experience, ideally with a financial institution
Comprehensive working knowledge of Oracle 8i/9i/10g Database
Working knowledge of SQL
Working knowledge of Unix shell scripting
