Walk me through the day to day responsibilities of this the role and a description of the project (Outside of Workday JD): The following list provides examples of daily responsibilities, but is not exhaustive: Collaborate with product owner and business stakeholders to understand and implement functional requirements Contribute to overall solution design Collaborate with team members to understand and implement non-functional requirements are prioritized (e.g. performance, resiliency, scalability, maintainability, logging, monitoring, alerting) Actively participate in agile ceremonies to ensure quality, efficient, effective delivery of product, that is continuously improving (e.g. daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, PI planning, sprint reviews and demos, retrospectives) Responsible for build and test of functionality Handle production support on-call rotations, and actively participate with root cause analysis and problem-solving sessions, and break fixes for any outages impacting the product Follow Centene development standards and procedures, including coding best practices Uphold Team Working Agreements Help identify and collaboratively help to manage risks and dependencies for successful delivery of product, with a systems perspective in mind Describe the performance expectations/metrics for this individual and their team: Project completion per project objectives and Jira stories Required Skills/Experience: 1. SQL skills. Prior experience as a data engineer would be beneficial. 2. Java, GoLang 3. ELT tool experience. Experience with Talend, dbt, snowflake, databricks, airflow or similar preferred.
