The Enhance team's vision is to create product detail pages that will improve our customer’s shopping experience by anticipating their needs at the different stages either in their shopping journey or during product ownership. We will build trust and reduce friction simultaneously by displaying relevant information* at the right time and tailoring experiences to their individual needs

This is a hands-on Individual Contributor role. The individual in this role will be involved throughout the development lifecycle for the Enhance team with the primary responsibility of developing and supporting highly scalable front-end components for the bestbuy.com website using modern JavaScript frameworks along with appropriate test automation, performance, and tools supporting the architecture.

Develop front-end components and libraries in JavaScript leveraging frameworks like React JS, Redux, Node JS, GraphQL, and so on and optimize for max speed and scalability.
Plans and executes delivery of coarse-grained features/capabilities.
Understands the business supported by their application(s) processes
Identifies problems and/or risks of their own work and the work of others.
Consistently helps new hires and junior engineers to level up and become more proficient over time.
Collaborate with team members across various disciplines to solve problems at the scale of one of the top 10 e-commerce websites
Minimum Qualifications
2 or more years of experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (ES2015 , Babel) like React.js, Redux, Node.js
2 or more years of experience in unit testing tools such as Jest, Mocha/Chai, Cypress.
Preferred Skills
Experience working with e-Commerce applications
Experience working with GraphQL / Falcor
Experience working with HTML5 & CSS3
Dependency Management Experience (npm, yarn)
Continuous Build, Integration & Deployment ( Webpack, Rollup, Github Actions, Jenkins, etc., )
Monitoring & Support ( Kibana, Splunk, Dynatrace, Pagerduty )
TDD / Refactoring / Automated unit tests, Integration tests, functional tests.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
Experience working with Git / Jira
