Part-Time Attorney - Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney
The candidate should have 2+ years of experience familiar with relevant legal deadlines and timelines to handle workers' compensation claims with knowledge in: industrial causation and aoe/coe disputes; filing responses to petition for increased benefits per labor code section 132a; and applicant depositions. Defense of claims involves uninsured employers - trial experience preferred involving aoe/coe, employment and case in chief. Must be able to complete pre-trial conference statement.
