Duties: Serves as Director of the Institute and as a Senior Lecturer. Will be responsible for developing a strategic vision; managing staff; approving budgets and development goals; fundraising gift and overseeing grant development; and, being the chief Institute spokesperson for its many publics. Lead and manage staff of the Institute. Teach 1-2 courses each year in an area of expertise to be determined with a concurrent appointment as senior lecturer. In collaboration with staff and the Executive Director, develops and implements strategic plan for the Institute. Responsible for the fiscal integrity of the organization, development, and adoption of the Institute's budget. Oversees the writing of proposed grants and raising monies for the Institute. Principal spokesperson to the Institute's many publics and chief marketer of its research and educational outreach programs. Serves on appropriate College and University working groups and committees.
