Are you a Scientist with 3-5 years' GMP lab-based experience?
A brand-new role has been created for a Senior R&D Scientist in Cork. Candidates with previous GMP, food and chemistry related backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Duties:
Provide technical expertise and analytical support for the development of encapsulated vaccines and other medical preparations for oral administration.
Provide technical leadership to resolve process and analytical technical challenges anticipated during the development, validation/qualification and transfer of encapsulated vaccines and associated analytical method development
Develop/Expand scientific, technical knowledge by reading the peer reviewed scientific literature, attending scientific conferences and via relevant training.
Ensure the delivery of development projects in the required timeframe according to the agreed project plan.
In collaboration with the R&D Director, manage interactions with collaborators and provide regular updates.
Desired Skills and Experience:
3-5 years (minimum 3 years) GMP experience with a Degree qualification in a Science discipline.
Good team player, organized, accurate, have strong documentation skills.
Passionate about R&D.
Good communication skills.
Knowledge and experience within a pharmaceutical manufacturing and chemical development environment and an understanding of the drug development process.
